As this is the first of the Greco Les Paul copies, it has a bolt on neck rather than a set neck. Just to clarify as a few people have asked the same question. I will obviously calculate the postage and insurance correctly when the auction has finished but this allows you to roughly gauge the maximum charge you will incur.

I ALWAYS CHARGE POSTAGE AT COST AND DON'T THINK THE POSTAGE WILL BE HIGHER THAN THIS. POSTAGE OUTSIDE OF EUROPE WILL BE CIRCA £70 AT THE MOST. It does however impact on the postage cost massively and explains why the cost of postage is so high. This is simply to make sure it gets to its destination intact. As most of the people interested in these guitars are overseas, I am selling it complete with the hard case shown in the first pic. Just to put any potential bidders mind at rest, I am willing to email and further pics you need, if you want to check the damage closer. I think most of the damage to the rear comes from belt buckles, etc. Personally I thought all this added to the appeal of owning something so old and collectible as it certainly does't affect the sound in any way obviously. There are also multiple scratches and chips to the rear (also shown on the pics). I must point out that it is showing the wear of it's near 40 years of age and there is a chip to the lacquer on the front (shown in one of the pics). It's pretty much lived in the hard case I bought for it at the time and sounds wonderful when played (not by me, but by the old guy I bought it off). Given it's age, rarity and collectibility, it really is wasted on someone like me and really needs to go to a good home where it can be played and looked after. I'm selling this simply because I couldn't get to grips with electric guitar as I much prefer my acoustic and really bought this on a whim. The pickups have the same 'Gneco'/'Greco' logo as the head and everything else matches the pictures I ve found in the early 1970s Japanese guitar magazines. I really don't profess to know any more than I've read on various websites but this guitar dates to nearly 40 years sold and (with the exception of the strings) everything on it looks to be original to my untrained eye. Certainly the 'Gneco' logo dates it to around that time.

I understand the EG-360S to be either the very first or near first of these produced by the factory.

I've looked into it more on the internet since then and everything I find confirms that this is an EG-360S which I understand was the first of the Les Paul 'copies' and the precursor to most of the legendary "lawsuit' Japanese guitars made in the following years. I bought it a few years ago of an old guy in the village who was selling it and he told me what it was. This was made in Japan in circa 1971/1973 according to the information I can find on the internet. You are bidding on an extremely rare and collectable Greco Les Paul copy.
